Toasted one pound of malted pale barley and one half pound flaked oats at 350f for 10-12 minutes.

Mash: 93% efficiency
151 fading to 146 over one hour.
Boil: 45 minutes SG 1.042 5 gallons
Hops: .5 oz. Northern Brewer (7.9% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: S-04 pitched directly to wort. 63F.
Log: Brew date: 4/7/13 sparge took over two hours but was super efficient. Aimed for three gallons but got more han that.

Tasting: 5/26/13 I was aiming for more raisin notes with the Special B malt but I only taste Belgium. I think that this beer would confuse most people as being a Belgian but its brewed with Brittish yeast, hence the name. With some finishing hops, this could be superb.
