Tasting: | Needed beer for a work party in 12 days, so decided to use S-04 as it tends to clear quickly. Turned out quite nice. A really big biscuity malt note. The Summit hops have that "different" note about them - somewhat of an orange-onion thing, but also with a nice wet hay note a la Liberty hops. Interesting comments I received from workmates was that it wasn't bitter enough - wow have we come a long way from the B-M-C parties! |
