Water: added burton salts
Grain: 2 lb. American 2-row
1 lb. British crystal 50-60L
Steep: steep at 165F
Boil: 70 minutes SG 1.053 6 gallons
7.5 lb. Light malt extract
Hops: 1 oz. Columbus (12% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (5% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (5% AA, 5 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1056
Tasting: Before boil, heavy, sweet
After boil, sweet and harsh bitterness,
After ferment, flat, nicely bitter with good hop flavor
