Alaskan Amber Clone
I really enjoy Alaskan Amber Altbier and wanted to make a reasonable
copy of their beer. I visited their web page and found a few
specifics to help me out. This is my second try and I believe it is a
very good copy. I hope you enjoy this beer if any of you try my
recipe. Good Brewing!!

Carbonation: | Pressure carbonated at 40°F with 25 PSI for 3 days. Reduced to tap pressure. |

Tasting: | This is a great copy of Alaskan Amber. I compared it to the bottled version and my version has a little less bite. The hops and overall flavor of this recipe is VERY close to the tap version of AA. My color turned out a little (very little) browner than the original. I also have to work on clarifying. All-in-all this is going to be my beer of choice for brewing for a while. |
