Steep: | Added the grains to 3 gallons of water and brought to a boil then removed the grains. | |||||||
Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.171 | 3 gallons | |||||
13 lb. 4 oz. Dark malt extract | ||||||||
After steeping the grains I added the extracts and brougth to a boil. When it reached a boil I added the bittering hops. With fifteen minutes left I added the aroma hops and a teaspoon of irish moss. |

Hops: | 2 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.) 2 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.) |

Yeast: | I used Wyeast London Ale liquid yeast | |||||||
Log: | Primary fermentaton lasted one week at 70 deg. Secondary fermentation lasted 2 weeks. I bottled and sampled after one month. The bottles that were left after 6 months tasted fantastic. | |||||||
Tasting: | The prefect mixture of maltiness, bitterness, and taste of alchohol. Tasted more like a wine then an ale. |
