Survivor Mead
This Survivor Mead 2001 was brewed @ Big Brew 2001 in honor of my wife Paula surviving breast cancer. We will be toasting this mead in 5 years, May 5,2006, as a celebration of her surviving this dreaded desease. May there be a cure by then. Prost baby, I love you.

Boiled hops, 2 oz. acid blend, 1 tablespoon yeast energizer & 1 tablespoon Irish moss for 15 min. Turn off heat & add all Honey. Bring back to boil to skim scum then cool. | ||||||||

Yeast: | 1/2 gal. starter of White Labs WLP730 Chardonnay yeast | |||||||
