American Industrial Pale Ale

Trying to make a beer that my relatives will actually drink. This
uses ingredients similar to any off the shelf american beer, except
I cannot use lager yeast so going with a ale yeast that leaves a dry
finish.

Beer: American Industrial Pale Ale Style: American Pale Ale
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
6 HCU (~5 SRM)
Bitterness: 11 IBU
OG: 1.047 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 4.8% v/v (3.8% w/w)
Water: Tap water boiled.
Grain: 1 lb. Flaked corn
Steep: Bring 3 gallons of water to a boil.
Remove from heat and place steep bag in pot.
Let sit for 30 minutes, then remove.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.079 3 gallons
4.95 lb. Light malt extract
1.1 lb. Rice extract
Hops: .5 oz. Hallertauer (3.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Hallertauer (3.5% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Hallertauer (3.5% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Hallertauer (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast #1056
Carbonation: 2.8 volumes Corn Sugar: 5.17 oz. for 4.9 gallons @ 70°F
