Apricot Ginger Wheat Ale
My first fruit beer. I decided to use a combination of 1 three lb can of apricaot puree in the secondary fermenter, and one bottle (4 oz) of apricot extract added at bottling.

Tasting: | Very drinkable by mid-Ausust. Good fruit flavor. Tart and dry. Continues to improve. One of my favorite beers. As good as Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. Next time, I would add ginger at end of boil and increase it to three oz. It's there, but I would like to taste it a bit more. |
