Steep: | Mash grains @ 155 degrees for 60 minutes or so. Sparge with enough strike water until you have at least 4 gallons, five is better. | |||||||
Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.047 | 5 gallons | |||||

Get a hard rolling boil going. After 10 minutes in go the Nothern Brewer. 1/2 the Hallertaur @ 45 minutes and the Irish Moss. The other 1/2 goes in @ 58 minutes. | ||||||||
Hops: | 1 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.) .5 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 15 min.) .5 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (aroma) |

Yeast: | Two packages of SafLager yeast. This stuff kicks ass! It'll get the fermentor BOILING in an hour. Don't be afraid to try this product. It is a great value as well. |
