Alcohol: 5.2% v/v (4.1% w/w)
Grain: 1.11 lb. American 2-row
2.23 lb. Pumpkin (canned)
Mash: 80% efficiency
I mashed 2 cans (29oz) of pumpkin (no spices, no additives, no preservatives) with one pound American 2-row for one hour at 170°.
Boil: minutes SG 1.069 4 gallons
4.47 lb. Light dry malt extract
1.11 lb. Wheat extract
I added 2 tblsp of Pumpkin Pie Spices at 5 minutes in the boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: Used Wyeast American Ale 1056 for this.
Tasting: Tasted after primary and decided to add 2tsp ginger, 1Tblsp Cinammon, and 2 tblsp vanilla extract to secondary. I boiled and cooled these in a half quart of water and added.
