John Barley #5
This marks #5 in the annual barleywine brewing festival. Something of a Brittish persuasion this time a round that should serve as a great winter warmer.

Tasting: | At bottling this beer tasted very drinkable. Stronger than an olde ale but not quite typical barley wine strength. Try using 1.25 quarts of water per pound of grain if you a using a mashing system without the abillity to add heat and raise the temperature. |
