Grain: 4 lb. American 2-row
.5 lb. Wheat malt
1 lb. German Munich
.5 lb. American crystal 40L
1 lb. Belgian CaraMunich
6 oz. American chocolate
Mash: 70% efficiency
Mashed grains for 90 minutes, then sparged using the Keith and Tony "rinse the grain bag in hot water then sqeeze it 'til it pops open" method.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.046 12 gallons
6.6 lb. Light malt extract
3.3 lb. Wheat extract
Tossed in a handful of Irish moss a few minutes into the boil.
Hops: 3 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast Irish Ale Yeast
