Barrington IPA
Not too bitter but good hop flavor and aroma was what I was going for.

Steep: | I steeped grains as I heated it to 170 ° and then let it steep for 60 min as it cooled. I actualy used Canadian Honey Malt not the Cara Pills but I did not see it on the list | |||||||
Boil: | 62 minutes | SG 1.065 | 6 gallons | |||||
6 lb. Light dry malt extract 2.5 lb. Honey |

I used Irish moss in the last 15 min of the boil. I used 2 oz of medium toast oak chips durring 20 min of the boil. I will add 2 more oz durring dryhopping with the 1 oz each of cascadea and willemete leaf hops. | ||||||||

Yeast: | I used a mix of coopers dry ale and Nottingham, I made a starter while the grains were steeping and after I pitched the yeast it was bubbling the airlock non stop in 5 hours and kept up at that pace all night (still going now) | |||||||
Log: | Brewed on 4-26-05 will let sit in primary until bubbling drops to 1-2 per min then I will put in carboy for secondary. | |||||||
Carbonation: | I will force carbonate with co2 at 30psi for several days |
