6 HCU (~5 SRM)
Bitterness: 11 IBU
OG: 1.056 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 5.9% v/v (4.6% w/w)
Grain: 8 oz. American crystal 20L
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
6 oz. Flaked wheat
Steep: Steep grains @ 155° for 45 minutes.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.093 3 gallons
1 lb. Wheat DME
6 lb. Wheat LME
Add DME and bring wort to a boil. Make hop addition and wait to add the Wheat LME after flameout.
Hops: 1 oz. Hallertauer Mittelfruh (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast #3638 Bavarian Wheat
Carbonation: Use around 9 oz. corn sugar to get 4.2 volumes of CO2.
