Ba Ba Ba Benny Mead
This Mead was brewed with my daughter-in-law Chandra & my new grandson Ben on 12/29/2004.
Hopefully, we will get to toast a glass when he is old enough.

3 tsp. Yeast Energizer 1 tsp. Yeast Nutreant Boil Energizer, Nutreant & hops only then add honey & hold at 165°F for 15 min. & chill. |

Hops: | 1 oz. Cascade (4.5% AA, 15 min.) | |||||||
Yeast: | 3 Qt. starter of Lalvin D45 Yeast from 2 dry yeast packs. | |||||||
Log: | Ferment at 65°-70°F in primary until gravity drops to 1.020-1.010 then rack to secondary. |
