Mash: | 72% efficiency | |||||||
122 deg for 30 min. Raise to 150 for 20 min. Take 1/4 of mash and heat it to 158 and rest for 20 min. Boil decoction for 15 min and add back to mash, adjusting to get 158, rest 20 min. Mash out at 168 deg 10 min and sparge. |

Irish moss for last 15 minutes. Add armoma hops for last 5 minutes. | ||||||||
Hops: | 1.5 oz. Saaz (4.2% AA, 60 min.) 1.5 oz. Saaz (4.2% AA, 30 min.) .5 oz. Saaz (4.2% AA, 15 min.) |

Yeast: | White labs pilsner (in a starter made with 3 TBSP dry malt extract and 1 pint water). | |||||||
Log: | Racked off of Trub after about 6 hours. Primary fermentation at about 56-58 deg. Racked into carboy and given secondary fermentation at 45 deg. | |||||||
Carbonation: | bottled with 3/4 cup corn sugar. |
