This is a very refreshing beer for the hot summer of Miami.

Alcohol: 5.2% v/v (4.0% w/w)
Grain: 1 lb. American crystal 40L
Steep: Single step mash
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.108 2.5 gallons
3.3 lb. Light malt extract
3.3 lb. Amber malt extract
3.5 oz fresh ginger shredded
1 hole lime shredded
Hops: 1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Make a 1.5 liter starter 2 or 3 days in advance with 1272 Wyeast American Ale Yeast II
Carbonation: Keg and force carbonation
