Bitterness: 30 IBU
OG: 1.045 FG: 1.008
Alcohol: 4.8% v/v (3.8% w/w)
Water: 1 Tbls CaCl2
Grain: 12 lb. American 2-row
1 lb. CaraAmber
4 lb. Rice (raw)
Mash: 85% efficiency
Dough in with the grain. Hold at 55°C ~20 min
Add cooked rice. Temp @ 66°C. Hold 15 min.
Recirculate ~25 min. Start sparge.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.042 13 gallons
3 whirlflocs @ 15min.
Hops: 3.5 oz. Crystal (3.5% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Crystal (3.5% AA, 30 min.)
3 oz. Crystal (aroma)
Yeast: 1200 mls wyeast 1098 British ale
Tasting: Not totally sure of hops could be Saaz
