This is a great Schwarzbier. Not to sweet and heavy.

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
64 HCU (~26 SRM)
Bitterness: 33 IBU
OG: 1.057 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 5.8% v/v (4.5% w/w)
Grain: 8 oz. British crystal 50-60L
4 oz. British chocolate
4 oz. British black patent
Steep: 30 min, @ 150°
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.051 5.5 gallons
6 lb. Light dry malt extract
Irish Moss last 15 min. of boil
Hops: 1 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Tettnanger (aroma)
Yeast: Southern German Lager Yeast
Log: Ferment out @ 60°
Carbonation: Prime with .75 cup Corn Sugar and bottle. Let age 2 months beafor drinking.
