White Water Pale
I wanted to make a mild Pale Ale with a big hop aroma. Here it is!

Steep: | Put grains in a bag and put in cold water. Bring water to 152F and put on lid. Turn off heat and leave for 30 minutes. Discard grain and bring to boil. | |||||||
Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.086 | 3 gallons | |||||
6 lb. Light malt extract 8 oz. Amber dry malt extract |

Irish moss for last 15 minutes. | ||||||||
Hops: | 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.) .25 oz. Amarillo (8.9% AA, 30 min.) .5 oz. Mt. Hood (3.8% AA, 5 min.) |

Log: | Brewed October 1, 2007. Starting gravity 1.049 - 78F zone October 8, 2007 - racked to secondary at 1.014. Added .75 oz Amarillo pellets and .45 oz. Mt. Hood pellets. 78F zone Bottled October 15, 2007 |
