Makiti's Wheat - BluBery Style
This is a very flavorful wheat beer. Read other recipes where they had issues achiving a true blueberry flavor. Total bluberries in recipe are actually 6lbs. Due to unknown augar amounts I only put 3lbs down...color is very close tho!

boiled 2 lbs of blueberries and added to wort @ 15mins. Added another pound into fermentor for a total of 3 lbs. | ||||||||
Hops: | 1 oz. Hallertauer Mittelfruh (3.9% AA, 60 min.) 1 oz. Saaz (5.0% AA, 45 min.) .5 oz. Saaz (5.0% AA, 30 min.) .5 oz. Saaz (5.0% AA, 15 min.) |

carbed @ 20psi for 4 days and dropped to 17 for 2 days. | ||||||||
Tasting: | Nice sweet blueberry taste that complments the wheat flavor...smooth. Color is almost dead on...just a little more purple tint. |
