Bitterness: 14 IBU
OG: 1.077 FG: 1.016
Alcohol: 7.8% v/v (6.2% w/w)
Water: .5tsp gypsum split between mash and sparge water
Grain: 3.5 lb. German Pilsner
.5 lb. German Munich
.5 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
.25 lb. British chocolate
.25 lb. Roasted barley
Mash: 68% efficiency
1.5 gallons of 130F water, hold for 30 minutes
Add 3 quarts of boiling water to stabilize between 152 - 155 for 60 minutes.
Add heat and mash out at 165F
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.110 3.5 gallons
7 lb. Wheat extract
Hops: .5 oz. Perle (8% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Spalt (6.75% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Hallertauer (aroma)
Yeast: White Labs Hef yeast
