Alcohol: 4.9% v/v (3.8% w/w)
Water: Schuylkill River Tap, 48 degrees F.
Grain: 12 oz. British pale
2 lb. 2 oz. British crystal 70-80L
8 oz. British black patent
Mash: 80% efficiency
5qt 133°F for 30min
+2.5qt boiling > ~150°F for 20min
+heat > ~158°F for 20min
+heat > 167°F
sparge with 2.5gal 170°F
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.083 3 gallons
3 lb. Light dry malt extract
8 oz. Belgian candi sugar
1/2tsp irish moss last 15min
Hops: 2 oz. Northern Brewer (6% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Fuggles (4% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: Hmm ... dry ale yeast, pitched dry, shaken up a bit after 10min
Log: 2009-02-07 brewed > primary
Carbonation: keg conditioned then force (rocked) carbonated > something low
