Starting gravity was actually around 1.052
I have made this beer twice, It is a very clean ale and has been very popular with my fellow beer drinkers

Yeast: | One and a half packets of Safale US - 05 | |||||||
Log: | 4oz of Oak chips steamed with water and a dash of scotch added to the the primary fermenter. After 5-7 days in primary move to secondary, add 4oz of oak chips to seconday. 7-10 days in secondary. Bottle condition for 1 month. | |||||||
Tasting: | Smooth ale flavor. Very drinkable, oak chips add a nice warmth. |
