Steeped grains @ 153-160 55min.(cracked)in the boil pot.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.092 3.5 gallons
6.6 lb. Light malt extract
Added 1.50z.chopped ginger root and 0.5oz sweet orange peel
+Irish Moss last 15 min.in hop bag with finishing hops.
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (6.9% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Danstar Dry Ale Yeast 11grams.
Log: Pitched @ 76*f in 68*f room.
Carbonation: 3.1 volumes Honey: 6.88 oz. for 5 gallons @ 70°F
Tasting: Got good comments at OVHA meeting from all tasters.
