Fudgett Nectar
This recipe is loosely based on other possible clones of Troegs Nugget Nectar (an Imperial Amber Ale). I used hops on hand & those available at my LHBS. Last addition hops were added at flameout, kettle was covered immediately and wort cooled w/immersion chiller.

60 minutes at 155-158°F...my mash tun is my kettle so my temps fluctuate. Actual efficiency was 79%. |

1 tsp Irish Moss at 15 min remaining. Also, had to switch propane tanks during boil. Towards the end of the first tank the boil was not too vigorous, this occurred about 40 minutes into the boil. |

Yeast: | 3rd pitching of WP001, previously pitched in (very dark) brown ale & robust porter. Total pitch volume was about 2 quarts. |

Carbonation: | Going into the keg after seondary. Start off at 30psi while rocking it, repeated once in first 24 hours, then at 10psi w/no rocking in fridge...should be ready in 2 days. |
