North German Alt
Very nice tasting No. Ger. Alt. Not too bitter and not too malty, just right.

Tasting: | Prettiest beer I think I've made. Has lightly grainy and biscuity malt flavor plus caramel with good but not overpowering hop bitterness. Low hop aroma and the malt aroma is also fairly low especially when cold (possibly add some aromatic next time) but there is some Munich dark fruit malt flavor to provide a little twist. Otherwise, nice and clean amber lager. Beautifully clear light brown with ruby highlights. My brother and I much preferred to the Alaskan Amber he brought me to use as a comparison. |
