Water: Deer Park bottled water used.
Grain: 1 lb. American Munich
5.5 oz. American crystal 80L
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
4 oz. Raw wheat
Steep: Steep the grains in just over 2 gallons of 155 F water for 30 minutes. Then sparged with one gallon of 150 F water.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.076 5.5 gallons
10 lb. 8 oz. Light malt extract
Irish Moss used at 15 min.
Wyeast Nutrient added at 10 min.
Hops: 1 oz. Nugget (13.7% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Nugget (13.7% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Amarillo (7.5% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Centennial (8.5% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Amarillo (7.5% AA, 0 min.)
1 oz. Centennial (8.5% AA, 0 min.)
2 oz. Simcoe (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1028 London Ale pitched from a starter.
