Sunset IPA
This is an attempt at a semi-traditional style British IPA--the bigger, more highly hopped versions that were exported to India in the early 1800s.
The name comes from the old saying, "The sun never sets on the British Empire".

Hops: | 5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 60 min.) 1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 10 min.) 1 oz. Fuggles (aroma) |

Yeast: | Wyeast 1028, with an appropriately large starter (I think it was about 2L; use the mrmalty calculator). | |||||||
Log: | Dry hop for the last week before you bottle or keg it with 1 oz of Fuggles. | |||||||
Carbonation: | I carbed to 2.2 volumes. |
