Bavarian Pilsener
Recipe comes from Andy the Beer Guy at Asheville Brewer's Supply.
He has me use Northwestern extracts and WYeast Liquid Yeasts. Always VERY fresh hops (sealed light-blocking bags) and yeast (usually only 2 weeks old)

Steep: | Steep Crystal Malt in bag for one hour at just UNDER boiling. Stir bag often to avoid sticking. Sparge and squeeze the juice out of the bag when done. Use spent grain for compost, or fun for squirrels. |
