174° Strike temp, Lauder grains for 2 hours. Added a unpeeled sliced green granny apple to acidify the Mash PH. The spent mash makes a good bowl of grains for breakfast and the goats just love it so much they will knock you over to get at it! |

Yeast: | 11.5 grams Windsor Yeast, 4 grams yeast nutrient in 2000ml 90° water. | |||||||
Log: | Use a coil chiller to cool. At 80° fill twin fermenters each halfway to allow foam space, pitch yeast at 75°. | |||||||
Carbonation: | Rack to keg 2 atmospheres for a serious foamy head. | |||||||
Tasting: | This is a very strong ale be careful, mix with food! |
