Anton van Leeuwenhoek Ale
I wanted something really strong to sip on. This beer is named after the Dutch scientist who invented the microscope.

Tasting: | I think I took this beer of the yeast too early, and the ambient temp was slightly too low for wine yeast, so it stopped working - hence the high F.G. Next time I would bump up the IBU's to 50-60 just to balance it out a bit more. but otherwise the taste is good! it has sweet maltiness with peach fruit flavours. The alcohol keeps you warm for a while afterwards. |
