Alcohol: 5.7% v/v (4.5% w/w)
Water: Use 1qt of tap water per gal of distilled water.
Grain: 18 lb. American 2-row
1 lb. Wheat malt
1 lb. American crystal 60L
1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
.25 lb. American black patent
Mash: 75% efficiency
Mash temp 150°F. Sparge water temp is 180°F for first run off
and 170°F for second run off.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.042 13.8 gallons
Use irish moss and yeast neutrient with 15 min left on boil
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (5.75% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (5.75% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (3.5% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (3.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Use WPL29 in a 1/2 gal starter.
