Water: | boiled 6 gallons of tap water the day before brewing. this was used to add to the fermenter(s) to bring the batch to a 12 gallon yield. I use (2) 6.5 gallon carboys as my primary fermenters, I rack to (2) five gallon carboys for the secondary ferment. | |||||||
Grain: | 1.5 lb. German Pilsner 1. lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils) 1. lb. Flaked rice |

Steep: | steep the grains at 155 for 30 min., I used nylon bags, removed prior to starting the boil. | |||||||
