Alcohol: 5.1% v/v (4.0% w/w)
Water: All water is RO.
Grain: 29 lb. Weyermann German Pilsner
1 lb. Weyermann German Munich
Mash: 60% efficiency
Mash in at 165°F to rest at 153-154°F for 1 hour, check for sacrafacation & mash out at 168°F.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.048 14 gallons
1 tablespoon Irish Moss in last 15 min. of boil
Hops: 4 oz. Hallertauer (3.5% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Saaz (3.5% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Saaz (2.5% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (2.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: 1 gal. starter of White Labs Pilsner Lager Yeast
Log: Ferment at 50°F until done, warm to 65°F for rest then lager at 34°F for 8-10 weeks
