My first attempt at anything resembling Optimator, but backing off on the strength to make it easier to drink in warmer weather.

Log: | Boiled up on 3/4/08, racked on 3/14/08, still in carboy. Will bottle in a few days. | |||||||
Tasting: | Based on Bock styles would increase bitterness and color somewhat, but happy with this first attempt. Maybe a little sweeter than anticipated. Also would like to add some toasted notes with some other specialty grains. |
