Never seen anything like this so I thought I'd give it a try. You can't see through it and it has a unique half-lager half stout flavor.

Bitterness: 24 IBU
OG: 1.049 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 4.8% v/v (3.8% w/w)
Water: Used Poland Springs
Grain: 9 lb. American 2-row
1 lb. American black patent
Mash: 70% efficiency
RIMS, 122 for 30, 149 for 45, 168 for 10, sparge at 170.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.038 6.5 gallons
Hops: .66 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
.66 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 20 min.)
.66 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 7 min.)
Yeast: Used 10g Saflager in a half cup starter, with 1 oz XLight DME
Log: Primary for 15 days at 50°, krausened with ~4oz trub and another ounce of DME for 6 days. Bottle aged with corn sugar for two months.
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes Corn Sugar: 4.50 oz. for 5 gallons @ 70°F
Added at bottling
Tasting: Pretty good served after two months of aging, even better after three. Unfortunately I don't hav further data on how well it ages in the long run because it was good enought to all get drank!
