Alcohol: 4.7% v/v (3.7% w/w)
Water: None needed. Tap water is good quality.
Grain: 91g British crystal 50-60L
100g Dark chocolate 45L
30g British black patent
Steep: Steep grains @ 65° C. for approximately 40 min.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.101 10 liters
3.18kg Light malt extract
Hops: 23.5g Kent Goldings (5.4% AA, 60 min.)
24.2g German Spalt (6.8% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: Add British Ale Yeast.
Log: Ferment for 7 days in primary. Rack to secondary for another 7 days.
Carbonation: Bottled. Added 95 g brown sugar for priming.
