Hazelnut Brown Ale
After a couple of trys, I think I've finaly have it perfected. Everone loves it.

Grain: | 3 lb. .5 oz. American 2-row .5 oz. American crystal 60L 1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils) .5 oz. British chocolate |

Mash: | 80% efficiency | |||||||
1 tsp of gypsum. Mashed at 150° for 1 hour. Went to 160° for 15 minuets. |

Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.076 | 3.5 gallons | |||||
4 lb. Amber malt extract | ||||||||
1 tsp gypsum (use during mash) 1 16oz bottle of hazelnut syrup (last 15 min of boil) 1 tsp irish moss (15 min from end.) 2 botteles of Noriette Hazelnut essence (boil in with priming sugar at botteling) |

Hops: | 1.5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 60 min.) 1 oz. Willamette (aroma) |

Yeast: | Use Wyeast American or British ale strains. | |||||||
Log: | Did a secondary ferment. Let it sit in the bottles for a month. | |||||||
Carbonation: | 1.9 volumes | Corn Sugar: 2.86 oz. for 5 gallons @ 70°F | ||||||
Tasting: | If you remember LongShot then that's what it taste like. If you don't like it so sweet, take out the syrup at boil. |
