(light) Brown Ale

I modified the "Osage Bluff Brown" recipe to make it lighter and with less hops. This turned out to be the best homebrew I have ever tasted.

Brewer: Freisinger Brewing Email: -
Beer: (light) Brown Ale Style: American Brown
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
45 HCU (~20 SRM)
Bitterness: 10 IBU
OG: 1.076 FG: 1.018
Alcohol: 7.5% v/v (5.9% w/w)
Grain: 0.50 lb. American crystal 20L
0.57 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
4.0 oz. American chocolate
Boil: minutes SG 1.109 3.5 gallons
4.03 lb. Light dry malt extract
4.03 lb. Amber dry malt extract
Hops: 1 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: WL German Ale/Kolsch Yeast (WLP029)
Carbonation: Corn Sugar
Tasting: Very good at first taste @ 19 days. This beer for some reason has a spicy bite finish. It has a lot of carbonation- belgian ale-ish. This beer took some time in the bottle to balance the spicy notes with hop flavor.
