This is my 3rd attempt at this Brown Ale.

Mash: | 70% efficiency | |||||||
Mashed in at 165°F to rest at 153°F for 1 hour. Check for conversion & mash out at 169°F & collected 14 gallons. | ||||||||
Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.052 | 14 gallons | |||||
Hops: | 3 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.) 2 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 30 min.) 1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.) |

Yeast: | 1/2 gallon starter of White Labs WLP001 California Ale Yeast. Positive pressure in air lock in 6 hrs. had to install blow off line by noon the next day. | |||||||
Log: | Ferment in a water bath at 75°F until finished then rack to secondary to clear. Keg & chill to 40°F until finished | |||||||
Tasting: | Ver.2 was a little to dry looking for some sweetness & nutty flavor. |
