I originally wanted to brew a hop-flavorful American Amber,
but went a bit overboard on the hops and dark malts, so it
became an American Brown.

Tasting: | I think it needed more maltiness and a little more chcocolate to stand up to the hops. However, in competition this beer took two first place ribbons and a second, and was an MCAB qualifier and NHC finalist. |
