Water: Here in Arizona, we need a water purifier.
Grain: 1.5 lb. British pale
.5 lb. American crystal 60L
Steep: Add grains and bring heat up to 165° slowly...do not boil! Keep grains in at 165° for 15 minutes.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.015 2 gallons
teaspoon of irish moss at end of boil of course.
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Willamette (aroma)
Yeast: Would recommend American Ale Yeast, preferably liquid or a starter.
