Grain: 1 lb. American 2-row
8 oz. American crystal 40L
8 oz. Flaked wheat
Mash: 45% efficiency
Mash grains at 152f for at least 30 minutes. Sparge with 5 gallons 170f water.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.047 6 gallons
5.50 lb. Light dry malt extract
1/2 tsp irish moss for 60 minutes, 1/2 for 15 minutes.
Hops: 0.75 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.)
0.75 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast 1272 (American Ale 2) in 20 oz starter.
