Grain: 2 lb. German Pilsner
2 lb. German Munich
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 60% efficiency
2 LBS. German Pils Malt
2 LBS. German Munich Malt
.5 Lb. Cara Pils (Dextrin Malt)
Mash grains at 155° 30 Mins.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.093 3 gallons
4 lb. Light dry malt extract
1/2 tsp. Irish Moss at 15 mins before finish.
7 Days in Primary
14 Days in Seconary
1 oz. Gelatin in Seconary
Hops: 2 oz. Tettnang Tettnanger (3% AA, 60 min.)
1.5 oz. Tettnang Tettnanger (3% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Tettnang Tettnanger (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast Bavarian Lager
Log: Lager 40° (if possible) 5 months or until October.
Carbonation: 2.4 volumes
Tasting: I made this beer once before. Incredible
