Celebration Sensation
This beer is a clone of Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, which is a very hoppy red ale that comes out once a year prior to Christmas. This is the fourth time I've tweaked the recipe, but this will be my final version, as I am wonderfully satisfied with the results.

The carbonation using 5.0 oz of corn sugar is slightly too much. This will be the only change I make in the future, I'll only use 4.0 oz the next time and adjust from there. | ||||||||
Tasting: | This beer has an awesome hoppy aroma as soon as you open the bottle. It is deep burgandy in color, with a rich creamy head due to the dextrine. Be prepared for a wonderfully dry hoppy beer. I never tire of this beer, and alternate between my Aye Carumba IPA and this Celebration recipe. I love dry hopped, unfiltered beer. ENJOY!!! |
