Chocolate Raspberry Lightning
Hopefully this will be a well balanced chocolate raspberry imperial stout.
i'm using rasperry puree at a rate of 1.44pd per gallon. i'm also going
to use 3/4 of a cup of ghiraldeli unsweetened cocoa powder. i usually
use 1/2 cup but figure with this mega brew i'll need more. i'm doing a
test batch of 2 gallons this week so i'll now how it turns out.

Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.073 | 6.5 gallons | |||||
2tsp irish moss added when there is 10 minutes left to boil. 3/4 cup ghiraldelli unsweetened cocoa with 5 minutes left. |

Hops: | 2.0 oz. boullion (9% AA, 60 min.) .5 oz. boullion (9% AA, 45 min.) 1 oz. kent goldings (4.5% AA, 30 min.) 1 oz. kent goldings (aroma) |

Log: | will brew test batch this weekend. will add raspberries to secondary. |
