Bitterness: 37 IBU
OG: 1.052 FG: 1.013
Alcohol: 5.1% v/v (4.0% w/w)
Water: Bottled spring water with 1tsp Gypsum
Grain: 1 lb. British crystal 50-60L
Steep: Steeped 1 lb Crsytal in 3 quarts 156 degree water for 45 minutes; rinsed with 170 degree water
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.104 2.5 gallons
6.6 lb. Amber malt extract
Added Irish Moss at 15 minutes left in boil
Hops: 1 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: Used rehydrated Safale and pitched into well aerated 72 degree wort.
