Sunshine NewtDreams Summer Ale
A nice light but malty IPA. Very refreshing. The new Hallertauer
Traditional hops are wonderful and make a nice light escape from
the big C hops of the northwest. A great summertime ale.

Add 7 gallons water to raise temp to 152C° for 20 min. Remove 2 gallons of thick mash and boil for 10 min. Return to main mash to raise temp to 157C° for 30 min. Sparge with 185C° to get 14 gallons sweet wort. |

Yeast: | White Labs English Ale yeast (Like 1968) from an amber ale yeast cake. | |||||||
Log: | First wort hop 3 oz. of Hallertauer Traditional. Add 1 oz. Hallertauer Traditional at knock out. Dry hop with 2 oz. Hallertauer Traditional in the secondary for two weeks. Rack to tritary for 1 week then bottle and keg. |
