Xmas Ale
Originally from the Cat's Meow, second year I've brewed this and it's come out really well.

Steep: | Placed grains in a large nylon bag. Put into water when cold and removed when the water reached 160°. Used a slow increase of heat, took 45 minutes or so to bring water to 160°. Used about 1 gallon of 170° water to rinse/sparge grains. |

1/2 cinnamon stick 1 tsp whole clove Added the brown sugar, cinnamon and cloves at the 15 minute (left) point with the finishing hops. |
